In the past 20 years there has been extensive discussion around the integration of the project and change management disciplines. A review of the project management and change literature determined that, although most project managers agree that integration is necessary for project success, the disciplines are siloed, and many project managers seem to disregard the theory and the complexities around implementing change. This session seeks to remedy this situation by focusing on how professionals from these disciplines can work together.

Learning Objective:
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to: Discuss the fundamental change management theories that should be integrated within the project management practice which would lead to a project’s successful implementation.
